Questions for Americans Assignment (thank you Jacky)

Your assignment is to ask each of these questions to a different person. Listen carefully and ask them questions if you do not understand a part of their answer. You will be reporting your answers back on Monday. Your homework for the weekend is to choose the response that was most interesting to you and write a summary of the response as well as 2 questions you would ask if you had a chance to talk with the same person again.

1. How do you feel about the economy? Do you think we are in a 1,5 or 10 year recession? Why?

2. What do you think is the best thing Obama has brought to office? What do you think is the worst thing he has done since he became president?

3. Do you think America is as good a country now as it was in the 1940’s? Why or why not?

4. Seattle is the native place of the West Coast Native Americans, do you feel they are still a part of Seattle’s culture? Why or why not?
